    MOSAIC JEWELERY COURSE

    In this 40-hour course you will learn how to make mosaic jewels using metals, murrine, Venetian smalti, crystals, swarowsky and semi-precious stones.

    The course fee includes:

    • the jewels you will make during the course
    • a kit of tools to take home with you (spatula, tweezers and tongs)
    • tickets and guided tour of the UNESCO monuments in Ravenna
    • traditional local cuisine lunch at the end of the course

    MOSAIC COURSE

    During the 40-hour course you will learn how to make mosaic decorations on mirrors, frames, panels and interior furnishings, using murrine, crystals, marbles, Venetian smalti and other glass materials.

    The course fee includes:

    • the mosaics you will make during the course
    • a kit of tools to take home with you (spatula and pincers)
    • tickets and guided tour of the UNESCO monuments in Ravenna
    • traditional local cuisine lunch at the end of the course

    3D MOSAIC COURSE

    During this course we will be making sculptures decorated with mosaics using murrine, crystals, marbles, Venetian smalti and other glass materials.

    The course fee includes:

    • the sculpture you made during the course
    • a kit of tools to take home with you (spatula and pincers)
    • tickets and guided tour of the UNESCO monuments in Ravenna
    • traditional local cuisine lunch at the end of the course

WONDERING WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE US FOR A MOSAIC COURSE?

    • Dusciana Bravura has thirty years of experience in the art of mosaic. Her artworks have been exhibited in various international galleries and museums and the Unicorn sculpture is part of the Collection of Contemporary Mosaics of the Art Museum of Ravenna.
      In these courses you will be guided by Mosaic Masters and Roberta Grasso, a graduate in Mosaic from Ravenna’s Academy of Fine Arts and winner of various arts prizes including the Thesis Prize Starting Point!, the Solo Mosaico Award and the Gaem Award.
    • You will be welcomed in their studio in Ravenna and will have the opportunity to learn their decorative techniques that will allow you to create your own works. Each course lasts one week, 40 hours, from Monday to Friday and will take monthly basis (max 5 people).
      The three courses: Jewel,Mosaic and Sculpture, will be confirmed once 5 students have been enrolled.
